My wife & I had been browsing for cottages for years when the perfect cottage hit the market! We were first time cottage buyers and immediately reached out to Cary, our trusted realtor, for advice and help, knowing he was knowledgeable in both city and cottage real estate in Ontario. It happened to be the Sunday of Labour Day Weekend. Cary reached out to the listing agent immediately and shared with us that there was an offer on the property that would be reviewed the following evening. Although he could've handled the showing/sale process himself, he wanted to be absolutely sure that we were covered (as cottages can be complex) and got the best service possible. By early afternoon of the next day, Cary had interviewed three local cottage agents, and came back to us with his recommendation (who happened to know the property intimately having been there for a listing opportunity). Next thing we know, it's 5pm on Labour Day and Cary is in the car with us rushing to cottage country to see the property in person before the sun went down, educating us and discussing strategy with the local agent during the 2.5 hour ride. Cary selflessly made sure we were taken care of, had all the knowledge we needed, and helped guide us to a successful purchase. We have been enjoying the cottage for a few seasons now and are grateful and fortunate to have had Cary on our side to make it happen.
